My dad stole the show this year. He took things out of our rooms and wrapped them as presents for us. It was absolutely hilarious.
He also bought me a pound of dry salami. Hell yeah!
Now it’s time for bacon, eggs, and all day basketball.

One of my mom’s students (she’s an art teacher) made her Christmas tree earrings, so naturally I stole them. They’re awesomeeee.
Also awesome: the awesome As Tall As Lions shirt I’m wearing that my awesome boyfriend bought me for my birthday.
Also awesome: watching Parks and Recreation on our big 73” TV instead of my 13” laptop because of Netflix instant streaming. Woooooooooooooooooo!

this festively decorated home in the dido can be seen (even from miles away) on mary lane. every year the family decorates their house to the nines and every year a ton of people come from near and far to bask in its holiday glory.

- I have written 11 of my grad school essays. Exciting.
- Except not really because I still have 12 more to write by the end of the month
- GMAT round 2 studying has begun and I’m so excited about it. Dec 29th is the day
- AT&T sent me a promotion for a $10 credit for signing up for paperless billing which they weren’t supposed to cause I already had it…so long story short, they gave me a $25 coupon to restaurant.com as a thank you for not getting mad. Stoked
- I cannot believe Christmas is in 4 days. It does not feel like Christmas in the slightest
- And I think that’s because Matt comes in 10 days. Ten! TEN!!!!!!!!!
- I’m really jazzed about my new alarm ringtone
