“The problem is, without God-Kings enslaving us and forcing us to build temples for them, we have no choice but to pay for the pleasure of moving heavy objects.”
Peaceful
I took my first hot yoga class today. It kicked my ass in everywhere, but right now I feel this sense of peace and calmness that I have never felt before. All of my worries from the past 2 months have temporarily floated away. It’s strange, but satisfying.
To me, going to the health club, you see all these people and they’re working out, and they’re training and they’re getting in shape but the strange thing is nobody is really getting in shape for anything. The only reason that you’re getting in shape is that so you can get through the workout. So we’re working out, so that we’ll be in shape, for when we have to do our exercise. This is the whole thing.
The best (FREE) workout app: Nike Training Club
I’ve gotten bored with P90X…thankfully, I found this gem in the app store.

It’s called Nike Training Club and it’s completely free. I think it’s targeted for women cause it only has pictures of women, but guys can definitely use it too.
You pick what you want to focus on, pick what level you’re at, and then you get a list of workouts ranging from 15-45 minutes.

You can tap on each workout and see the list of moves. When you tap on the move, it has pictures and video on how to do them.

Then you can set music from your phone if you want and start your workout! There’s a lady that talks and tells you which move to do (you can access the videos and pictures during the workout if you forget), time remaining, and tips. It’s awesome.
And the workouts are intense. I did the very first beginner get lean cardio workout the first time I used the app and I was sore the next day. I’m loving it. Plus, seeing the super fit girls is kinda motivating haha.
I highly recommend downloading it if you have an iPhone. I mean, it’s FREE. It does take a while to download though.
Tony Horton, wipe that smile off your face

I started the P90X workout today.
Holy hell.
One routine and I’m dead.
I doubt I’ll be doing it 6 days a week like it says and I’m doing the “Lean” version instead of the “Classic” version because it has more cardio in it. And I’m not doing the Nutrition/Supplement stuff that goes with it. But I’m really excited to give it a try. I hope I stick with it. Hahah
The instructor is super fun. He sounds like Matthew McConaughey which is quite nice.
