If someone were to ask me what I’d considered my best skill, I’d have to say it’s my ability to surround myself with amazing people.
This morning I woke up to flowers & funfetti cake from my roommate. She even used my favorite vase that she made (she does glass blowing). We’ll be baking together tonight. :)
I came home from work and finally opened my present from Kristi, which arrived on Monday. As I opened it, I was confused - the top of the gift looked like Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs, which I had bought for HER two years back. After going through the maze of cards, I discover she got her copy of the book signed for ME because she knew how much I loved Chuck Klosterman.
And, in a little bit, Amanda and Jacob will be coming over to continue the celebrations.
I’m a lucky gal :)

Shot entirely on the Nokia N8 mobile phone. The winner of the Nokia Shorts Competition 2011.
This was beautifully made. You’d have no idea it was a phone.
Let me first apologize for 1) being so awkward; and 2) it being so dark. I can’t explain away my awkwardness, but it’s dark because my desk lamp broke. In any case, happy birthday! How is it that we were 13 when we met, and now we’re 21? The passage of time is such a curious thing. Have a wonderful day!
Oh my god. I’m speechless. This is amazing.
Kristi is the most wonderful best friend a person could ask for. I’m about to cry.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU! I’m so lucky to have you as my friend. I can’t wait to see you in a week! <#
Jeff drew this on my binder, in like, 9th grade or something.
It still makes me smile whenever I look at it.
I’m sad that part of it smeared away. Poor dinosaur nose.
