Matt has accepted a job offer in San Diego and will be moving out here this fall.
He was actually offered the job on the spot last week; I was just waiting until it was official before I said anything. Words cannot describe how happy and excited I am, so I won’t even attempt to try. Just know that we have both been wishing and waiting for this to happen for years.

I’m in NY right now. Flew in last night & staying till Sunday. Then Matt’s flying back with me to SD for one day for secret reasons that I’ll divulge at a later time.

Today may have been the longest day, and I may have only accomplished half the things I set out to do (but, let’s be honest, I was overachieving anyways), and I may have been in a fit of rage and sadness from 5:09pm - 5:37pm, but it’s all good because I now own the coolest apron (& kitchen timer & mug) thanks to my awesome cousins AND I get to go home in 2 days AND my boyfriend is officially a college graduate.
