I come home from work to find this pretty thing waiting at my doorstep. Another painting from my momma to add to the collection.
I’m excited for 2012 for many reasons, but the thing I’m most excited for is being able to start this awesome journal Amanda gave me for Christmas. There’s a question for every day of the year (be it profound or silly) and room to write an answer for 5 years. I’m really excited to see how my thoughts change - or don’t change - over the next 5 years. Thanks Amanda!
Today may have been the longest day, and I may have only accomplished half the things I set out to do (but, let’s be honest, I was overachieving anyways), and I may have been in a fit of rage and sadness from 5:09pm - 5:37pm, but it’s all good because I now own the coolest apron (& kitchen timer & mug) thanks to my awesome cousins AND I get to go home in 2 days AND my boyfriend is officially a college graduate.
Christmas presents are all wrapped up thanks to Man Made DIY!

then i need to catch up on all my classes from this week. (damn you 10th week!)
